The feeling amongst football fans coming into this Sundays match between home side Manchester United and Harry Redknapp’s Queens Park Rangers was that United fans were growing impatient for a win and the Old Trafford fans were already losing faith in new Manager Louis Van Gaal, seeing massive amounts of summer spending as a nothing more than papering over the cracks of a weak team. 10-man Stoke City hang on for a point at Norwich

Ten-man Stoke City held Norwich to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road after Bradeley Johnson gave the host’s the lead, Jon Walters’ penalty pulled the visitors level before he was sent off minutes later for a challenge on Alex Tettey. Mark Hughes was forced to make a change to the team that got to 1-0 win over Arsenal last weekend with Peter Odemwingie in for the suspended Charlie Adam whilst Chris Houghton recalled Ricky Van Wolfswinkle to his starting line-up. Liverpool get first league win over Stoke

Luis Suarez scored two as Liverpool secured their first win at The Britannia Stadium in The Premier League. Strike partner Daniel Sturridge also had a cameo in the game scoring one and setting up Suarez’s second and Liverpool’s fourth goal. Whilst Steven Gerrard scored a penalty and Aly Cissokho bagged a deflected goal. Stoke fought back through Peter Crouch, Charlie Adam and Jon Walters but their efforts were in vain after Sturridge and Suarez run riot in the Potteries. Mark Hughes made just two changes with Walters and Crouch coming in for Kenwyne Jones and the ineligible Oussama Assaidi.
